For example, use the pineapple to make tea or delicious lemonade.
Pineapple tea
- pineapple peels
- cinnamon
- water
- honey
- heat the water on the stove
- add cinnamon to the boiling water
- while the water boils add pineapple peels and cook for another 3 minutes
- sweeten with honey to taste
Pineapple lemonade
- 1 fresh peeled pineapple
- 1 lemon
- ice as desired
- In a blender mix the chopped pineapple chunks, lemon juice and ice together according to the required density. You can drink immediately. Or you can freeze the juice in moulds and have a great homemade popsicle!
